Laverda's small sports 125, built around a Zundapp-sourced liquid-cooled two-stroke engine, aimed at young riders who wanted an Italian alternative to the German KS 125. The prototype appeared at the Milan show in late 1977 and sales began in early 1978, initially in a single red version. A 175 cc variant was also offered but sold less well.
